Not Sure
When I attended, I wasn't exposed to much drug use. I think alcohol use was pretty average for a college scene.

Perspective from an Alum
Favorites: adirondack adventure, outing club, little pub, writing program, career center, the glen. If you have a lot of extra-curricular interests (like I did), the possibilities are endless at Hamilton, on top of a great education. Folks complain on this site and elsewhere about the weather in central NY and a lack of fun things to do off campus. But there are so many opportunities to get involved in things on campus and via the school, it's all what you make of it. Also, Hamilton is in the foothills of the Adirondacks, one of the most beautiful areas in the country. Adventures abound.

Spanish Major
Spanish program was great, especially with a Latin American studies focus. My thesis advisor was my favorite teacher at Hamilton, changed my perspective completely on the world and what I wanted to do with my life (international development). Her U.S. Latino/a Literature course was amazing. Workload was tough, but professors were engaging and very supportive.

Challenging but Engaging
Great professors and classes. My communication skills in particular are above and beyond my coworkers due to what I learned at Hamilton.

Great
Nothing to say really other than that. The renovations the college has completed in recent years are impressive.

Not Sure.
I wasn't in a sorority. The sororities and fraternities threw some great parties though.
