Low Racial Diversity
Kenyon's student body is made up of mostly white, upper middle class students. It seems like the administration is slowly working towards changing the diversity levels but it's slow going. Groups exist for students of color who feel socially isolated from their white peers. Political diversity is very high with students representing all parts of the political spectrum. There are multiple queer groups on campus and the student population seems very accepting of non-straight sexualities.

No Drinking in First Year Dorms
Campus safety is very lax about checking the age of students seen imbibing at large parties, rarely if ever writing underage students up. If Community Advisors catch you drinking in first year dorms, however, they will be sure to file a report. This is rarely an issue as first years find other places to party.

The Dixie Lot Is Far Away
Due to campus wide construction, parking (though it is not limited) can be far away from student residences. All north campus parking is reserved for juniors and seniors leaving under class students to park in lots located in the far away south lot of Kenyon. If you're truly unlucky you may have to park in the deep south lot (hence: Dixie Lot) and make the long treck back to your dorm. All first years may bring cars, though!
