In an online course, the best part is that as long as there is internet connection you can stay on top of your work. Only in case of blackouts and huge storms do you have problems

You Get to Live at Home. One of the amazing parts about being part of an online college is that you get to sleep in your own bed and eat your own food.

since I'm in the center for distance learning, I do all my work on-line, so no transportation to college is necessary.

Degree Planning – Empire is unique in that each individual has to create his/her own degree plan/curriculum, and then get it approved. You work with a mentor in order to develop this plan. It is a very hard process. I am majoring in Human development and found that there was a nice selection of classes to take, so that's great. It's good because you are not limited to specific classes.

On-Line Workload – On-line courses are extremely hard. They require a lot of work, much more than in a traditional classroom. A good professor makes all the difference.
