The Gambier Community
I wouldn't consider Gambier a town or a city. It is a community. The fact that Kenyon makes up most of the town makes for a great student-driven, academic, and social atmosphere. It also doesn't hurt that everyone here is incredibly friendly. While we might seem like we're isolated in the middle of nowhere, civilization is just 5 minutes down the road in Mt. Vernon, and if you really need and urban fix, Columbus is less than an hour's drive away.

A Friendly Place
Kenyon is one of the most accepting and friendly places I have ever been. People are accepted for being themselves. People are appreciated for being open-minded. There is a place here for everyone.

Kenyon and Athletics
Many people are involved at athletics at Kenyon, whether varsity or not. Our swimming program is outstanding, and many of the other teams do very well. Kenyon has an amazing recreational facility that allows for any and all people to get involved in athletics. While fan support may not be the greatest at Kenyon, everyone here loves the school.
