Little Diversity

Unless you are while or hawaiian, you will likely feel like you are outnumbered. Since Creighton is a private school, a large majority of the students are white and from the upper middle class or upper class. There is a large hawaiian population on campus but they mostly stick together and do not socialize with anyone unless you are asian or hawaiian. Despite the lack of diversity, there seems to be acceptance towards all races and little segregation.

Bi-Polar Weather

The summers are hot and humid and the winters are windy and always cold. There are some days in the spring and fall where there might be a day with 70+ weather and two days later its in the 30s. Overall, the weather is to be expected since the school is in the midwest. Luckily, since most of the classes are up on the main part of campus walking to and from classes is not too bad when its below freezing and the grounds crew keeps the sidewalks and walkways cleared of any snow and ice.
