The Square
Oxford, MS is a quaint known for The Square, where you can shop, eat, drink, or listen to music. I am an intern with Thacker Mountain Radio which is a live radio show aired from Off Square Books (which is on The Square) on Ole Miss' very own radio channel, 92.1 Rebel Radio. There's so many wonderful and cultural opportunities to enjoy in Oxford, MS!

Study Study!
Ole Miss has a variety of resources for students to study. I am a mathematics education major and the math lab has tutors everyday from 8-5 who walk around all day to help a struggling student. The J.D. Williams Library is the center of campus, and it has three floors for you to choose from. The professors are wonderful. They let you know their office hours the first day of class, and they are always willing to help right after their lecture if I ever get lost in class.

Admission Process
I decided to be a math education major my third year of college. Thankfully, I had already taken all of the core classes necessary for this major and I had a high enough score on my ACT so I did not have to take the first Praxis exam to become a teacher. Other than that, you just have to go to the advisor of whatever major you want to declare, and they handle it for you and tell you what classes you are to take semester by semester.
