Hi, If i want to apply to FIT and be in the business side like merchandising and buying, do I need a portfolio? How does that work? I don't want to go for design or anything but more the businessy side of fashion I guess.

No u don't need a portfolio the thing that matters are your grades and essay

Is it true that the guy percentage is going up? Like instead of 60-40, will it maybe become like 55-45?

I'm not sure, but all of my classes always have far more girls in them. The larger female population is pretty noticeable, especially if you live on-campus

Boston is one of those cities no band passes up. There are PLENTY of alt rock concerts :)

Absolutely! You can always go to the House of Blues for bigger bands, and some of my favorite (smaller) venues are Paradise Rock Club and Brighton Music Hall, and I know there's plenty more on top of that.

Is there ever any indie rock bands that come in town to play? I'm a huge music person and that stuff is important to me.

There are quite a few musical opportunities around Eugene. I saw Passion Pit, Matt and Kim, Icona Pop, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis right here on campus in our basketball arena. They were at great student friendly prices too.

there's always a wide variety of concerts in Eugene!
