College on the Hilltop, City Below
It isn't really possible to walk into town because of the distance, but the Conn College has a van that runs a loop to town, the malls, and the movie theatre Thursday-Sunday. There are some nice homey cafes in New London by the water and other fun shops. The malls near campus also have a pretty good selection of stores and there is a target on the van loop which is always nice to go to as well. Many students drive cars or get rides from friends to these places.

Lots of Athletes and Many Fans
There are a lot of athletes on campus, some are varsity level, and many students also participate in club sports. During the soccer games you can find many fans watching on the field and fans support the other teams as well.
