There are some definite stand outs when it comes to attractive people at UC Davis. But as a whole it is really really hard to judge. There is just such a huge pool of people who are interested in so many different things that there is no way to give anything but and average grade. It depends on who you are and who you come in contact with that day. Theres a pretty cool social scene and as far as interests, dress and looks you get everything from one side of the spectrum to the other.

I think its awesome that drugs are not a big part of the Davis campus. If you don't want to be a part of that culture, you don't have to be. It's that simple here. There are people who use for sure, but dorms are pretty good at enforcing the no drugs policy and it isn't hard to get away from it if it's bothering you.

Awesome
Transportation at Davis is incredible. It is super easy to get around by bike, nothing is more than 10-15 minutes away. Busses run everywhere you can't get to on your bike and all through downtown and to Target, Safeway, Savemart etc. They are free for students. There is an hourly bus to the airport and on busy travel weeks they have a direct shuttle. The tipsy taxi will take you anywhere in Davis for two dollars.
