Pretty Safe.
I've gone here for over a year now, and I've never felt unsafe on campus. I've walked around at all hours, after dark, and by myself around midnight. Still take normal precautions like locking your doors and everything, but it's pretty good.

Strict, but Forgiving.
They can be strict about certain things, but my suitemates got caught underage drinking a few times and are still here, so clearly they aren't that strict.

Good Parking If You Know Where to Look.
Pay attention to the meters and the signs. If you park in the right place, properly display your pay stub, and come back within the allotted time you will be fine. If you're coming during class hours, good luck.

Hard to Find Safe, Cheap Apartments
There are lots of apartments available, but the cheapest ones are in the worst areas. For a good, safe apartment, expect to pay $1000 for a 2 bedroom 1 bath.

Good If You Like People from New Jersey...
The Jersey girls usually go to Bourbon Street on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Favorites is another popular spot. Most are 21+ directly around the campus, but if you go into Baltimore there are lots of options.

Not Too Bad.
Towson has a bus that can come get you if you don't want to walk back to your dorm late at night, MTA buses run around campus, and the Collegetown Shuttle is amazing!

Diversity, Sort of
Towson University is definitely not the most diverse, but the campus does make a strong effort to have events. The Center for Student Diversity helps create a welcoming environment.

Find Your Niche and You Are Golden
Towson is a great place, and it's easy to meet a lot of great people. It can seem big at times though, so the best thing to do is find a group of people which you are comfortable with, and stick with them. Having a niche to many people sounds like you are in a clique, but really it makes it easier to fit in.
