How many miles is this from a mall?

When you have Newbury St. right there, you don't need a mall. However, if you feel this overwhelming need to go to one, Cambridge has a really big mall over by Kendall Square.

There's also the Prudential mall which is a street over from Newbury, and if you keep going inbound you get to downtown Boston, so really there isn't much need to go to any malls at all. Though you can take the green line way out to Lechemere, and that's next to the Cambridgeside Galleria mall.

Is this a seriousquestion? LOL

Nice place!

The Campus life is not horrible, I enjoy the disc golf course, the dorms are pretty nice, own bedroom and bathroom. I personally do not like Albany, it is not a good town, very sketchy.

Yes. I love it. Great campus and enviornment.

The campus life is pretty laid back. It is easy to find all the buildings for classes and is a small campus.

Yes it is. They are really working on expanding the campus.

Are the academics at Carnegie Mellon really world class?

Yes, and they compete well with whatever's offered at the lower tier Ivy League schools (if not better) and are well able to compete with MIT, Caltech, and Chicago

Yes, the work is comparable to other top schools in the country. Students work hard for the A here.
