Lots of Options
There are a lot of different and relatively cheap dining options around DU. There is not a lot of classier sit down places for going with your family, but if you want a quick dinner, there are options everywhere. We have everything from Noodles & Company, to Chipotle, to Jason's Thai. There is a wide variety of cheap meal options very close to campus.

Pretty Mediocre
The freshman dorms at the University of Denver are not the best. They are small, and are never at a pleasant temperature. My room was always burning up to the point where my window had to be open even in the middle of snow storms. I think the upperclassmen dorms are better, and there are definitely worse freshman living situations, butdo not come in freshman year with too high of expectations.

Constantly Changing
I love the weather here. It is constantly changing, and if you do not like the weather one minute, just wait a couple more and it has changed. It's great because we get warm springs and falls, but it's cold and snows during the winter. The campus is busy during the fall and spring quarters, and during the winter people can be found outside having snowball fights, building snow forts, or are up in the mountains skiing.

Ritchie Center (Athletic Center)
The athletic center at DU is all encompassing. It has everything from a rockwall to ice rinks to every type of elliptical machine you could want. There are ample amounts of weight equipment, and courts for every sport you could want to play. It is a great place to work out that is always bustling but not so busy that you have to wait in line for machines.

Printing
They just recently upgraded all of the printers so that they are now able to print double sided and in color. Additionally, each student gets $20 a quarter on their ID card to spend on printing needs. The printers can work wonderfully, but they have tendencies to not have jobs go through or be jammed or broken.
