Off Campus
There are many dining options nearby. My favorites are Panera, McDonalds, BW3, Wendy's and Chipotle. You can use your BuckID card for convenience. Cost is fine with student discounts available.

Off-Campus Housing
There are tons of apartments and housing close by. The university area has become a lot safer over the years.

Engineering Scholarships
I was able to get a scholarship thru the College of Engineering that has been very helpful. There is a separate application, besides the university-wide application.

OSU
OSU has plenty of computer labs on campus, please wireless internet in most places. As our campus computer store says, it is Wired Out!

OSU Strictness
OSU is strict about alcohol in the dorms and does do write-ups. They have also banned bringing it to athletic events.

Getting Into Engineering
There are many trying to study engineering at OSU. The average ACT score of engineering students is 29.5. Some areas of engineering are very competitive to get into, like biomedical, civil and mechanical. Others, like material science , food-agriculture- and biological and welding engineering don't have as many students.

What It's Like to Live on Campus
Living on campus is the greatest because it's close to everything. OSU has a huge campus, so it's far to walk from one side to the other, esp. if you don't live on campus, or live on the edge of campus.

OSU Transportation
OSU has campus busses that run regularly & they purchase a city bus stop for each student. Transportation is great!
