Very Safe
I have never felt unsafe on Georgetown's campus. The biggest problem here is theft, usually the result of students leaving their doors unlocked. As long as you are smart about it, safety is never an issue at Georgetown.

Great Libraries and Gyms
The Yates Field House has several courts, pool, track, dance room, weightlifting, etc. and is free with tuition at Georgetown. The libraries are state of the art and part of a consortium of libraries on the East Coast. If you can't find something you want, the University will get it for you.

Party Off-Campus
Make friends with upperclassmen if you want to party, dorms get busted pretty easily and two write-ups will affect your future housing and study abroad options. Clubs are always an option, even for under 21s, but they can get expensive.
