Not That Bad.
There is a fair amount of off-campus options, and they're pretty close to campus. It definitely helps that transportation is free and convenient, or else it'd be a bummer trying to get home. Not everywhere is too safe, but for the most part off-campus housing is a smart idea. DEFINITELY cheaper than on-campus, if you spend your money right.

NO PARKING
There is seriously very little parking on campus. It can be a nightmare. There are garages and meters, but it's all very expensive. Honestly it's not worth having a car on-campus at all, especially since transportation is free and convenient.

Not Too Bad, I Suppose.
Unless you're in greek life or something of the sort, there's not too much interaction between the guys and girls. So far, everyone I've met has been incredibly nice. People are mostly in casual dress, sweatpants and jeans and stuff like that, except on weekends when people go out and party. Overall, I'd say the gender thing is pretty decent.
