Easy to Find
The off campus housing is usually in Providence either near Brown or RISD. Since these are historic houses, they are usually very old but still very clean. There are also apartment complexes in downtown that are a bit more pricey but worth it if you have the money.

Depends on Dorm
Charles Landing is nice but very far from school (about a 15 min walk). 15 West is very close to all the school buildings and is in the same building as the library. The freshman dorms don't all have AC so it could be very hot.

Your ID card will get you onto almost any public bus. The buses go all around Rhode Island so that's convenient. There are also shuttles that bring you to Michael's or food shopping. There's also a night shuttle that drives girls back to their dorms if they work late.
