What are some sororities that have a good balance between academics & social life?

I wouldn't join a sorority if you are not going to be 100% committed. It will take up much of your time and take time away from your school work.

I think I can be committed. I know it will take up a lot of time, but I think it's possible. I was just wondering if there are sororities that also focus on schoolwork :)

All of the sororities on campus have high GPAs but you need to find a sorority that best matches you. If all you look for is an organization that just has good grades but you don't get along with the girls then it wouldn't be right for you

Okay, that helps! Thanks!

I agree with the above. Be open during recruitment to all houses so you can get a good vibe of what they're like and don't be afraid to ask them about their scholarship/academic aspect of the chapter because they'll let you know!

How good is the Food Science and Human Nutrition program at UH Manoa?

The University of Hawaii at Manoa is my top school, but I haven't heard too much about their nutritional sciences program. Also, how well does the pre-professional track prepare for medical school?

I am not involved with that program, but from what I see, students are exposed to a wide range of knowledge and hands on experience. I have only heard good things about this program.

I had not taken any Food Science and Nutrition Classes but from what I've heard it's a popular class to take

The Food Sciences and Human Nutrition department at UH has good facilities I believe. I also think the Human Nutrition department is also highly regarded, due to the overlap of the atheltics department being well funded.

I am unsure about the Food Science and Human Nutrition program at UH Manoa. I do not know anyone pursuing a career in the major

The Food Science and Human Nutrition program is very good, from what I understand. For a short period of time, I was in the Pre-Med program, which at that time was very good.
