Choose Your Classes Wisely
I'm a poli sci/international studies major, and so far I've been very satisfied with my education at Northwestern. That said, I'd advise that you have to choose your classes wisely at NU -- READ the CTECs (student reviews of classes published online) before you sign up. There are many great professors here at NU. There are also some horrible ones.

Tons of Options
Dining in Evanston is great. There's a reason it's basically the food capital of the north shore. A lot of the restaurants in downtown Evanston are reasonably priced and student-friendly, and there are also a few great options on the north end of campus. Downtown, I recommend Clarke's, Joy Yee's, Olive Mountain, Lulu's, and Zoba (my favorite). North, you should check out Noyes Street Cafe and Rollin' to Go (my other favorite -- yum).
