Cheap Fast Food
There are very few sit down restaurants around Baylor's campus. It is mostly chain restaurants and fast food. The fast food is decent, but still, it's fast food. There are some sit down places that are decent, but they are a bit of a drive to get to, and even they are not that good. I read an article that listed the top ten worst college towns when it came to food. Baylor was third on the list. I could definitely agree with that site. The only good thing is that most of the places around campus accept Bearbucks which is kind of convenient.

Kind of Weird
Baylor has a mix of the good and the bad. Waco is not exactly the safest place a person can be, but it's not that bad if you follow the general rules of not going out alone at night, and staying out of the bad parts. One of the things you have to do in Waco is go tortilla tossing off the suspension bridge. It may sound lame, but it's more fun than you would think. Another thing to do is visit the Dr. Pepper Museum. Waco is huge into Dr. Pepper, so you don't want to miss out.

Depends Who You Talk to
I don't really see much use of alcohol and drugs on Baylor's campus because the use of either of these things gets you kicked out of school. I do know that hard core partying goes on off campus, but I've never been to one of those parties, and don't plan on it in the near future.
