Skyline
If you're able to, live in one of the Skyline dorms. They are fairly new, clean, and provide nice amenities (AC, study lounges, clean bathrooms, etc.)

Off-Campus Nightlife
There is always a party to be found every night. Thursday night is typically the start of the weekend and late-night buses for party-goers run Friday and Saturday nights until 2 AM. There aren't many bars/clubs, but off-campus housing provides adequate nightlife for both the legal and underage.

Parking Costs
If you want a decent parking spot, you typically need to arrive before 9 AM. Otherwise, most of the lots are already filled and you may have to park across campus, which could make you late for class. As for ticketing, a friend of mine parked on campus (without a permit) at 6:58 PM, since non-permit cars can park on campus beginning at 7 PM. At 6:59 PM, she received a $50 fine for parking without a permit. I have heard a few other similar stories, so in general, parking services will nickle and dime you for all you're worth.

Outstanding Food
E-Hall is the best when it comes to buffet-style eating. Saturday and Sunday brunches are very popular and the omelets are fantastic. If you want more diverse food choices, Festival and PC Dukes are the best. Bottom line, you will never leave hungry from a dining facility.

There Is Something for Everyone
If you're a science major, you have plenty of opportunities for research with the faculty. You can earn 1-3 additional credits/semester if you join a research lab and they those credits also serve as good GPA boosters. Also, you can apply for the REU program offered during the summer, which allows you to work with fellow students from all over the world, while earning a pretty generous stipend. As for the social scene, there are many social opportunities on campus. Greek life is popular, as well as joining clubs or attending school-sponsored events.
