Id go to a stronger premed college, Like johns Hopkins in Maryland its the best college for all medicine related field not counting ivy leagues.

We've got great health related programs. I believe the Board of Regents just approved the building of a new med school that will start taking students in 2015.

Try searching for the best cardiology med schools in the US. Usually the best med schools for a specialty have the best undergrad for it too. NYU might be on the list, I'm not sure. Hope this helps!

Baylor is great for you. I would at least apply here and look around. We offer a great atmosphere and a fun place to learn

Come here, you will go far. Course load is significant but if you want to be a cardiac surgeon it shouldn't be too bad. Not only will Baylor set you up well with schooling it will also help you become a well rounded person.
