Honors College and Major Are Great
I am with the honors college at my university and they along with the professors(for the most part) that I've had have been extremely helpful and encouraging. They go out of their way to help you achieve the goals you want to achieve and motivate you to do so.

Very Safe
When I lived on campus only people who lived on that particular dormitory could get in and had to have their gate access card. There was a security number that could always be reached as well.

Mix
It's just a huge school. The amount of people for me just gets to a point of annoyance - but I chose to go there so... Which means there are a variety of people around. The greek life groups are pretty serious about themselves. As well as any other group for that matter within majors.
