Suprisingly, There Is a Lot to Do in This Little Campus Town in the Middle of Nowhere. from Bars to Frats to Local Venues You Can Find a Lot Going on.
I would say although I am from Chicago, this little town keeps me pretty entertained. There is a very large greek system therefore they hold a lot of events such as bar crawls, philanthropies, parties, activities, intermurals, etc. There is also a large bar scene with a big variety of different bars. Besides the social aspect, there is a lot of organizations you can join that hold a big amount of events that are cultural, educational, social, etc. Almost anything you can think of. Being a big 10 school, there is a lot of sports and recreation. We have two big gyms were you can most likely find anything you want in them. From a rock climbing wall to squash ball. There is a shopping mall very close by with a wonderful bus system that gets you there. The safety is phenomenal, I've never felt very threatened on campus. Overall I would say I love it, as do many others.

I Love the University of Illinois! I Believe It Is the Perfect Combination of Both Academics and Partying. There Is a Lot to Do but There Is Also a Lot You Learn.
Being a freshman, I've only been on campus for a semester and a half. But so far, I love it here. The school offers so many great things! You can almost never find yourself bored. And if you are, then it's your own fault. I've had some pretty crazy nights and I also have pretty high grades because I am able to make good use of my time so that I can enjoy myself. I would definitely choose this school and I am so glad I did. It was my second choice but after having to choose an in-state school due to the costs, I am glad to say that I love the fact that this happened because I cant imagine going anywhere else

I Love the Fact That Everyone Here Can Be Both Fun as Well as Studious!
Before coming to the University of Illinois, I barely spent any time with boys who actually studied and did well in school. It was usually either you party or you study. After coming here, I met so many boys (as well as girls) who were able to do both. I find it astonishing that people actually take their studying seriously and when they are able to they can take a break and go out. There is a lot of programs that the school offers as well which really come in handy. The libraries are almost always open and there is so many of them. The greek system is huge and there is a spot for everyone. Even if you are not in the greek system, you will most likely find an organization that fits you perfectly. I also love the fact that the school is so diverse. I've been to other schools were almost everyone you see is white. Our school has a nice mix of every ethnicity as well as international students. It's an overall amazing place to go to.
