Being at Georgia Tech requires someone to have a very specific mentality towards life. Anyone who is adverse to hard word should avoid going to the school. The social life is very active for people who are willing to go out and search for it, but many students do stay in the library. Being right around the corner from the night life of Atlanta is an amazing perk that really allows for students to blow off the steam that accumulates at Tech. Campus is generally safe, and the people on campus are very helpful and protective.
