College Security

There are Emergency Posts throughout WVU's campus. They are blue poles where you can make emergency phone calls. If you're alone and don't want to walk in the dark by yourself, you can even call and have a campus cop escort you. The only extra security measures I use is carrying pepper spray on my keychain at night. I feel really safe on campus actually.

Fashion Merchandising

A lot of people think fashion majors have piece of cake classes and assignment, but we are probably some of the busiest students on campus. The professors are some of the best. They are always there to help outside of class and during class, and love what they do. They challenge us and have high expectations. There is a lot of work, but there is a lot to learn. And you learn the most when you are thrown into the situation. They give us detailed advice about internships, study abroad options, and other faculty to use at our advantage. They are here for us.
