A Place for Everyone
Hofstra is very diverse, despite what rumors may float around, and that's why I love it here. There are your typical guidos and guidettes, but there are so many other types of people that go to this school, and that keeps it always interesting. There are artistic kids, very driven kids, athletes, dancers, hipsters; you name the group, it's here at Hofstra.

LOVE IT.
I love Hofstra. There is always something to do either on or off campus, and the students here are awesome. My favorite part of school so far was this past year's Homecoming. It sucked that we didn't have a football game, but the tailgating was SO fun and it was great to be around everyone and share in the school spirit. Plus, Hofstra organized a full weekend: Jimmy Fallon performed, as did Trey Songz, Public Enemy, DJ Envy and Fountains of Wayne, AND they had a whole carnival and beer garden set up. It was tons of fun.

A Pain at Any School, but Mostly Fine Here.
Getting Financial Aid is going to be a pain at any school, that's for sure; but to be honest, the Hofstra financial aid staff has always been as helpful and honest with me as possible, and in the end, I've always gotten the help and money I needed.
