Definitely There for the Students, Both in and Out the Classroom!
When I initially came to Hopkins I wanted to enter the medical field but the counselors and administrators are great at encouraging students to think outside their comfort zone and now I am studying politics. The professors are wonderful,the campus is kept beautifully, and there are always activities to join.

Slowly Growing
Upon arriving at Hopkins I noticed very quickly, although there was a bit of every race enrolled, the demographics weren't as diverse as advertised by the school. Over the years there has been a growth in the diversity of ethnicity and cultures.

Just Say No
Drugs really aren't that popular at Johns Hopkins. There's no pressure from others to participate in that kind of activity so its easy to say no if offered. Some choose to smoke and experiment but for the most part, students enjoy drinking.

Loved It!
I loved living off campus- I just don't advise living alone if you're a social person. You can have the freedom of having parties and visitors without the hassle of campus security checks all the time.

Not So Shabby
Lacrosse is big at Hopkins. So me being from Texas where football is popular, it makes it very hard to adjust. I do wish there was a little more emphasis on school spirit in athletics.

Pretty Grand!
Overall my experience has been great at Hopkins! I love my friends and the field of study I'm pursuing. The professors and administrative staff are fantastic but I do wish there were more options for students with financial difficulties.
