The Art Program Offers a Broad Range of Mediums, and Encourages Experimentation
I came to the University of South Florida for its art program. I've learned screen-printing techniques and welding, how to use mediums such as charcoal and oil paint, I've learned about the Renaissance and the Pop-Art movement. I know my own skills have been honed through the wide variety of teaching methods and techniques, as well as the ability to work in several different mediums. Through this, I've decided to apply what I've learned in the fine arts to the story I'm currently working on.

Sweetbay and Other Options...
There's a Sweetbay off-campus that the bull-runner passes, (bus D). Sweetbay is great for groceries, and the bus usually comes every ten to fifteen minutes, so your groceries won't spoil. There's a Boba, a Tijuana Flats, a Chiles, and a Planet Smoothie in the same strip. Panera is a little way away from the strip, and if you go to the mall they have a foodcourt there.

Bull-Runners
Here at campus we have Bull-runners, buses that start at the Marshall Center transit and take students to the Wal-Mart, University Mall, Sweetbay, Library, and other parts of campus. They're free with your student ID, and very convenient. You can also get on the Hart buses free with your student ID.

Redundant After Awhile
Sometimes it's just unappetizing. The salad bar has wilted lettuce, overripe tomatoes, and everything just tastes wet and like it's been sitting too long. The coffee is kind of watered down and burned. The sandwich bar is nice, but I wish they had more options for dinner.

All Walks of Life, International, Local, Out-Of-State, Etc.
It's international here. Everyone here has a goal, and you can respect that. They come from all walks of life, all nationalities, and all of them have a goal. Friendships are far easier to come by when you're in your major and going to that particular part of the college. Nurses, teachers, artists, mathematicians, geologists, and philosophers all jive well in their own groups where they share a common goal.

Parties Happen Spontaneously
Parties tend to happen spontaneously, they're rarely announced or broadly advertised beforehand. One of the nicest ones I ever went to was by accident. I came out of a lecture to find a bunch of frat-guys had set up a grill and were making everyone burgers. Since we share a building with the music-people, they started to play. It was really fun. The night-clubs aren't for everyone...they're extremely crowded. Not normal crowded, but literally "you-can't-move" crowded. The guys there aren't always college-age either.
