Heart of DC
Howard is located in DC which is a very popular tourist city. Anything you want to eat you can. And everything is either walking distance or accessible by a short ride on public transportation. Many nearby places also gives discounts to Howard students.

EXPENSIVE!
The Quad is the best freshman female dorm and Drew is the best freshman male dorm. The Annex is the most comfortable along with Cook. The Towers are for the upperclassman. Meridian is off campus, full of sophomores, and fun. But you do not get what you pay for... you get way less!

The MECCA
Howard University is the top HBCU. We have a lot of history and our legacy is remarkable. We are top rated in academics with non HBCUs. We take pride in creating the best African American individuals in society. Campus life is also amazing. There is ALWAYS something to do, most of the time too much! Howard is known for being fun. The networking you will receive while at Howard is probably the most valuable thing about the school.
