Safety at VCU
VCU is known as an unsafe school. I have never had any trouble,but have heard multiple stories. There are VCU police phones located around campus and they send you text message notifications if anything has happened.

Shop Around
There are a lot of apartments around the area with pros and cons to each. So I would recommend you do your research to get the best deal.
