I Live in Mccollum and. . .

I love it. It is definitely not the nicest dorm but I'm getting the true Freshman experience. Rooms are bigger than the ones in Hash & Ellsworth but they aren't renovated. Out of Lewis, Ellsworth, Hashinger, Lewis, and McCollum - I recommend McCollum & Hashinger. The community of Hash is amazing. I have friends there & they're whole floor is really close. Only negative aspect of Hash are the stoop kids - they can be real ass****s sometimes. Mac is awesome if you're okay with living in an older dorm. I've heard tons of horror stories about it but none of it has been true. Example: the fire alarm has yet to be pulled. Lewis is boring. Sure, the rooms are nice but there isn't much of a community because people stay in their rooms. Ellsworth is okay. It's a mix between suites and traditional rooms and has been renovated recently. Some of the rooms in Ellsworth are TINY! I don't know much about Templin, Corbin, GSP, or Oliver!

Safebus Is Your Key to Friday/Saturday Nights

I love SafeBus. Not only because it's extremely convenient, but because you can hop on a SafeBus and easily find a party. Just follow the crowd. SafeBus is a lot of fun and half the people riding are already drunk.

It's not hard to find a house party where you can get a drink if you're underage. Most parties charge $5 for a cup.

When it comes to clubs, I recommend Abe & Jake's and Wilde's Chateau. A&J is more popular with students but Chateau attracts a more exciting crowd.
