So-So
The town of columbia could definately use some updating. There aren't many things to do in town, besides bars, movies, or eating. I'm from st. Louis where there are live outdoor concerts, botanical gardens, the riverfront, magic house etc. So to be cultured and come to a city that wasn't anticipating the growth that University has brought, it can get boring if you're not exactly a club type person.

Seems to Be Responsible
Our school tries to provide a safe environment for drinkers. We have several programs where sober students will pick up students who have been drinking to make sure they get home safe. Alcohol is usually kept to a minimum of parties or clubson the weekends.

I Think Its Great
I don't live on campus and I am allowed to buy a parking pass, and park in serveral locations once I get to campus. Free buses then come and take us to campus, and they also come to campus around the clock to take us back to the are where our cars are. Its quite convenient so you don't have to walk.
