Dorms Are Poor
My dorm at northern Illinois University has decaying walls, holes, the carpet comes up. The ceilings in the hallways are filled with holes overall, not great

The campus at Northern Illinois University is very diverse. There is an international dorm, and the diversity helps people become involved

Overall Experience
Northern Illinois is a mediocre experience at best. The weather is terrible, the social environment is decent if you enjoy being drunk for the majority of a weekend, but thats about it.
