Off-Campus Housing
I am entering my second year at UCI. I lived on campus during my first year and will begin living off campus this upcoming fall. As a result I do not know a lot about the living experience, but I do know that there are a lot of options. The different apartment complexes are similar as are there prices. The one negative is that there is a high demand, and, as a result, you may not get your first choice. However, there are other options and finding quality of campus housing is fairly easy.

Academic Quality
The academic quality at UCI is excellent. The professors are experts in their field and are passionate in helping their students. There are a wide variety of subjects that are offered to students to help students find their interests. One negative would be the large class sizes.

Along with the on-campus dining options there are many off campus options. Many of them are walking distance and are affordable. Also there are coupons available to students.

UCI Athletics
There isn't a lot of school spirit for the school teams. However their a wide variety of intermural options for students to participate in. Also the school gym is excellent.

Local Atmosphere
UCI is close to the beach and Newport. Irvine is one of the safest cities in the United States. There are plenty of places to shop and UCI is also near Disney Land.
