Summary of Bryn Mawr Town
Bryn Mawr is not a bustling town, but a nice quiet one. The main attractions are on a main line strip and there is a small movie theater, restaurants and small business shops. I love going into town with my friends and exploring the little shops and eating at different restaurants. However, we are also not far from Philadelphia which has numerous things to offer in the way of entertainment and the train station to take us there is not a ten minute walk from campus.

Parking at Bryn Mawr
I do not own a car to use or park with on campus, but the parking on campus is all right, there seem to be enough spots for students, but they are strict about where students are allowed to park their cars.

Bryn Mawr's Financial Aid
The financial aid department is filled with nice people, but they are a little disorganized. I turned in everything on my online list and a couple of weeks later I received an e-mail saying I still needed things, which was very frustrating as I would have taken care of it when I was dealing with everything else. I received a decent amount of aid, but it was a complete hassle going through the process.

Sports at BMC
We are a Division III school and our sports are horrible. it seems to stem from poor coaching and a disorganized program and student disinterest. Some of the students work hard, but there are also student prone to going to parties before games and they may claim to not drink, but will still stay out very late at night and then are upset when we lose our games.

Trasportation at BMC
We have two vans: one runs between Bryn Mawr College and Haverford College and another runs between Bryn Mawr College and Swarthmore College. The vans have awkward times and run at some hours one day but not the same hours another day. It can be frustrating when you have a class and have to wait hours (especially for the bus to and from Swarthmore), but otherwise, it is nice to have an option without having to use public transportation.

BMC Insider
Bryn Mawr is a beautiful school filled with quirky students. We also have big school traditions that everyone on campus gets excited about. It is nice because they always come at he right time when stress levels are high and students need some time to relax and be in the community. We are also a small school, so having these events really solidifies our experience and sense of community.

BMC Computers
There are many computers on campus. We have PCs all carrying Windows 7 software and there are also an abundance of Macs. There is always one open wherever you go.

Facilities
Our facilities are well kept and pretty up-to-date, we just remodeled our gym and it is a lot bigger and nicer than it was with more equipment. There are three libraries on campus that are not up-to-date, but not built so long ago and very nice. The campus itself is very beautiful built in Oxford style and it looks like a castle (or as many students like to call it, Hogwarts!)

BMC Peeps
Bryn Mawr is a woman's college, but boys from Haverford and Swarthmore can take classes (and vice-versa at their schools) and the schools are close enough that we can indulge in their campus activities as well.
