Dining Near Kent State
Although lacking in some of the more tradition restaurants, there are quite a bit of fast food restaurants, deli's, pizza places, and little mom and pop's restaurants. The great thing is that all are within walking distance, and are priced at about the average for the area. With the exception of Bruno Brother's $1 slices, located directly across the street from the campus. All in all there is a great selection.

Drugs Are Not Prevalant
I haven't really seen much of a drug culture here at kent state, aside from the few who smoke, drinking seems to be more popular. Which is a good thing since drinking is still legal. Police do seem to enforce those who overreach their bounds.

Emerging Leaders Is a Genius Idea
Kent state's emerging leaders program is a wonderful idea. Especially since I am majoring in business administration, being given the opportunity to receive a certificate for leadership training, as well as getting the chance to work with campus leaders and conduct leadership workshops during your second your is a great chance for a head start on one's career.
