Expensive but Wide Variety of Choices
Around Westwood there are a lot of places to eat for a many different people. The problem is finding the right places to eat that is affordable with a student budget. There are some places with great prices but many places are pretty expensive. A popular place is called Diddy Reise that sells ice cream sandwiches for $1.50.

Closer Apartments Are Expensive
As you get closer to campus, the apartments become smaller and more expensive. Further away, there are apartments that are cheaper but getting to class can be a problem. However UCLA provides its very own bus system for these students so it can be worth the extra mile.

Good Professors If You Can Enroll in Their Classes
The biggest problem UCLA is facing is financial problems. Because of this scheduling and enrolling is classes are very difficult especially for classes that are required across many majors, have good professors, and have limited class sizes. Despite this there are many different kinds of classes. However what has changed over the years is that students are now required to declare a major in order to enroll in certain classes.

It's Pretty Good Here
I believe that UCLA balances both social and academic atmospheres well. People are serious in their studies but also have parties and are social. Also there are many activities and job opportunities for students. UCLA also provides a lot of different foods in the residential community and on campus so you can try many different things.
