Professors Are Pretty Hard but Worth It – The professors are pretty hard on students but this ultimately helps us in the long run. As a nursing major the workload for some of the science classes was very overwhelming. I would always suggest to start off school taking 12 hrs, see if you can handle that, then move up to 15 hrs. GPA is everything, so you should never put that in jeopardy by trying to overload yourself.

Diverse Ish, but Mainly White – Don't get me wrong UT can be diverse but at the same time it is still primarily white students. I will say there are any international students which is nice. As an African American student it is easy to feel overwhelmed or an outsider as the only black person in your class. But really it also depends on your major. UT is pretty diverse, but could always be more.

Gets the Job Done, but Could Be Better. There are different food places available to eat but within those place the food items become repetitive. After a semester you will have eaten almost everything at every food place. The dining hall food can be tasty but alittle pricey.
