Campus Safe, Big City
The USF campus itself is safe, but the campus is right in a large city. Go east or south just a little at night and you better watch yourself. As for staying on campus, you should have no worries at all.

Old Dorms That Get the Job Done
There is nothing particularly bad about the dorms, they are just outdated. Phelan is being redone though. The bathrooms are brand new and amazing and apparently the rooms will be done next. Hayes-Healy is the best dorm though.

Very Welcoming, Fairly Diverse
You will find people of every nationality imaginable here, but the Chinese international students are overwhelmingly present on campus. They stick to themselves, flaunt their money, and are rude.

Street Parking Only
Very limited on-campus spaces available and only for off-campus students. In an urban city, there is never enough parking for everyone and the 2 hour limit is difficult.
