All You Can Eat
While the food and options in the main cafeteria are good, it is only open two hours for each meal and you are not allowed to take any food out. For example, I go to lunch at 11:30 and eat until I'm full, then by 5 I'm starving again and go to dinner. Sounds fine right? Well after dinner around 7 I'm hungry again with nothing left to eat. The meal plan would be a much better dinner if you were allowed to make a sandwich, or get food from one of the numerous stations within the dining hall and take it outside to eat whenever.

Yum
Lewis and Clark is surrounded by many little neighborhoods that are a quick bus or bike ride away. If you don't feel as adventerous the campus shuttle, The Raz, drops you off in the heart of downtown where there are many food carts as well as reasonably priced restaurants. It may take a while, but I recommend heading into Hawthorne, which is one bus ride away from downtown. Hawthorne has a plethora of cute restaurants including Chez Martin, a delicious french restaurant. Also if you like Thai food or Sushi, there is an abundance of Thai and Sushi restaurants in Downtown.

Safe and Secure
Lewis and Clark has a wonderful team of campus safety officers. While at times they are a pain, they work hard to keep everyone safe. Campo will show up at parties prior to the police to break up the party so no one recieves criminal charges. Punishments for getting caught with illegal substance are fair and not overly severe. First offenders must attend a hearing where they have the chance to explain their actions, and repeat offenders may be forced to attend a class.
