Library Has Many Good Options and Wifi Is Everywhere

Our Library is shared with USF Sarasota campus, so there are tons of resources for a school of ~800 people. The network is as reliable and fast as I've ever seen in a semi-public place (bandwidth can get crowded at certain times, but, you can get a wireless router to alleviate the problem).

The new dorms are very nice. Dort and Goldstein are spacious and rather clean. The Pei dorms are nice in size and maintain a wonderful society that everyone is a part of (since almost all first-years live there). The price is average, but the A/C works and repair orders are easy enough. The housing side of campus is compacted around the student center, which is convenient. Most classes are across the overpass, but it's not too far.

The School Is Liberal on Most Subjects That Won't Get Them in Legal Trouble.

The school maintains strict safety rules concerning fire code, events, etc. But, they certainly follow the theory that an intelligent group of young adults can be trusted to make wise decisions. The people who can't handle that sort of freedom/trust responsibly, tend to drop out within the first 2 semesters. There is an understanding between the campus police and the students that everyone is there to maintain a safe environment and the localization of parties to a very small area prevents any safety issues with DUI's etc.

The People Who Work in Ham Are Nice and Try Hard, but the Food Seldom Reflects That.

Our board contract is with Sodexo, which does most of the prisons in our country. The food we get isn't prison quality, but it's definitely not the best. One alternative which, as of recent, accepts meal plan money is the Four Winds Cafe: which is the amazing opposite of Ham and serves awesome, organic food (if it is a little slow).
