Off-Campus Housing at University of San Francisco

B

How Far Are You Willing to Go

there are plenty of places to look into concerning off campus housing. The problem that manty if my friends ran into however was the fact that there only a small portion of the available housing was close to campus, which created a bit of a frenzy when it came down to signing a lease. Many were left to find housing 25-30 mins away from school which, isnt the end of the world, but iis a bit inconvenient if you have 8 am class or need to 'run' home for a second. Landlords are landlords, people usually have problems with them but overall, they are ok. I dont really have any problems with mine, she is dependable for the most part (just a little rough around the edges). Parking, unless you pay extra for a garage (IF you even have a garage at your place) is a crapshoot. I suggest the bus hands down the most convenient transportation system especially for students. The school has a portion of its website dedicated to this, but it is not very extensive and it's first come first serve, otherwise Craislist.com is your best bet.

Parking at University of San Francisco

C

Tricky Business

Public transportation is a lot less stress than parking. There is a sorry excuse for a parking lot on one side of the school, and between the 8am class students and faculty GOOD LUCK. Availability is minimal, convenience, i wouldn't use that and parking in the same sentence here.

Overall Experience at University of San Francisco

A

Lovin' the City Life

Campus life is pretty decent, there aren't too many distractions (other than the fact that girls outnumber guys 3:1). It is easy to focus on school work, but at the same time all you need to do is hop on the bus and you can go ANYWHERE. If you're bored, you aren't exploring what the city has to offer. You could spend an entire lifetime in SF and still not know everything about it. The school overlooks downtown in one direction, and the beach on the other. On its clear days, there aren't many places i'd rather be.
