Fast, but Wireless Download Limit
Every person I've met so far has their own computer, and I feel that this is completely necessary - especially in such a technologically advanced society. WiFi is easy to connect to and pretty fast, but during a large chunk of the day there is a limit as to how much content you can download. If you exceed it, then your internet is slower for the next 24 hours which is unfortunate. Thankfully there is WiFi throughout most of campus though, which is very convenient.

Even Greater Than I'd Expected
UCSB is a fantastic school, and my experiences thus far have exceeded my previous expectations. It has the perfect combination of inspiring professors, interesting yet rigorous classes, beautiful location, diverse student body, and thriving social life. Living in the dorms has been such an amazing experience which I am so thankful to have had the chance to do - living in such close quarters with other guys and girls has brought me to make many good friends and have quite an array of unforgettable experiences.
