Whilst I found that only 3% of UGA's student population is international students, how will Internationals fit there? I heard people here often group up as race/skin colour. I am an Asian and I wish to meet some white people, especially the hot Caucasian girls. Will it be difficult?

It is not difficult to meet people of different cultures and nationalities! The students at UGA are very diverse and friendly! Also, there are many attractive girls here!

Is it possible to get a scholarship from outside of U of Miami during my years in UM? I applied to UM and got accepted but I failed to apply for scholarship and didn't get one. I am an international student. Where can I acquire an international student easily acquire outside scholarship?

how hard is it to go out and meet some of the people in SDSU for parties and stuff? Or are they stubborn too and ignore UCSD students because of UCSD students' "smartness"?

It is not difficult at all to meet SDSU people and go out to parties.

should I do biochemistry at University of Miami or Psychology and Neuroscience at UC San Diego? I love to party and I like meeting hot girls as well as keeping up with a great education.

Don't know too much about University of Miami but Neuroscience at UCSD is pretty good from what I understand. Partying and meeting hot girls will definitely happen alongside a quality education as long as you make the effort to get out there.

as a student who will go to UCSD next year, how easy is it to go to SDSU parties and meet some cool people there too? I am hard-working however I never put down a great opportunity to party hard. I love partying and meeting new people

You will not be let in to any of the frat parties on campus and people usually don't like random people in their houses they don't know. Especially if they don't go to state.

how easy is it to meet people from SDSU? I like to surf, rock climb and hit the gym. Heard the college gym there was free to use for everyone. how easy is it to meet girls from SDSU?

have to meet people that are invited first.

Generally yeah. Go to sporting events. I'm not to sure about the gym but if it's true definitely do that. You'll be sure to meet tons of people attending SDSU including girls

The gym is not free. If you live in the dorms then you're paying for an ARC membership which is built into your dorm cost. If you live off campus and you're an SDSU student, it's $20/month.

Hi, I am an international applicant. In my high school transcript, during grade 9, I had a few Cs and Ds, however, none in later years. How greatly would it affect my admission into UWM?

It might not be too much of an issue. College admissions officers like to see that students improved over time however depending on how many Cs and Ds you got it might make it tough

It probably depends on your grades after 9th grade. Did you get b's and c's or just all a's? It also probably depends on your test scores

No. During grade 12 (senior year), I'm getting a few Cs and Bs. The course rigor is intense at the moment for me. I think it will greatly affect my chances then

I'm getting Cs for physics. Abit of Bs and As in other science subjects here and there. My school doesn't follow the GPA system though since I currently do A Levels.

I've got quite a low sats score of 1730. But in class I've gotten all A grades. I'm the school head boy, I'm skilled musically and athletically. I'm an international applicant. I did more than 300 hours of community service/work. How much will they consider me?

They will definitely consider you. I had a low SAT score too, but having good grades, being active and the community and doing extra curricular activities helped me to get in. I applied early action and found out 3 weeks before hand that I got into the university. Don't worry; they take everything into consideration when accepting students because they want well rounded people :)

how did you find out that you got in three weeks beforehand?

is this similar for regular decision too?

I guess it just depends on if they like you or not. I looked online at my application status one day and it was up. Just make sure that you put down everything that is interesting and impressing about you and make sure you have good recommendation letters; then you should be fine.
