My First Taste of Amazing
The classes offered are absolutely amazing. I've only been here for a semester, but I already love the professors. All the professors in the Theatre program (my program) are all very helpful and there to talk to you. All of my other teachers are absolutely wonderful and always encourage you to visit during their office hours or during appointments for ANY work or questions.

Explore the Area!
There are a lot of places on the block that have good food but some of it is a little expensive for college students. There's Boloco which is a local Chipotle-esque fast food place where a big burrito is $6 that's right next to one of the dorms, there's a pizza place down the block, etc. And of course, there are tons of places around the Boston area that are only a short walk or a T-ride away.

Ask Around for Parties
There are clubs really close by (mainly Rise and Machine). Those that I mentioned are 18+, and you can easily find more that are 18+. Alcohol is easy to come by (fake ID's are easily accepted in the China Town area). Transportation is relatively easy, the T closes at 12:30 but the school has a program where if you don't have money for a cab you can take one and then give the cab a slip which works as a check from the college and then pay the college back. Marijuana is easy to come by as well.

Quidditch!!!
Sports aren't a huge thing in that you won't get a sports scholarship. However, people are recruited to play all types of sports. The biggest is Quidditch, which is a huge deal here at Emerson. There are games in the Boston Common every Sunday and they compete against other schools and at the World Cup every year. Other sports are a big deal, but Quidditch is the most popular.

Tight-Knit Group
One of the best things about Emerson is how tight-knit the school and your programs are. Emerson will always hook you up with internships and even jobs. I know a junior in BFA Acting that already has been guaranteed a job in New York after she graduates and internships until then. Your friends are all somehow in your field and will always help you out later in life, along with your professors.
