Carbo-Loaded Dinner
The food overall is very good and there are quite a few choices but eventually you get through all of them and nothing seems very appealing anymore. Also, the food in general is full of carbs and there aren't a lot of vegetable options besides salad. Lastly, everyone ends up with a ton of meals left over but not many dining dollars so the combination is a bit imbalanced.

Awesome Dorms
With the exception of Camino/Founders, I've found that people seem to love the dorm they're in, even as freshman. Certainly compared to other freshman dorms I've seen during tours, the ones at USD are awesome. I've also heard that all of the upperclassmen dorms are awesome, and each has its strengths and weaknesses.

The Utopia of Greek Life
Greek life at USD is really ideal in my opinion. It certainly doesn't dominate the campus and there isn't Greek housing, but the Greek life here is really all about the community, the standards they are held to, and the community service they provide. There aren't many instances of out-of-control parties or crazy initiation rituals. They are all about developing the best men and women and having that brotherhood or sisterhood and providing a good foundation for when we move on from college.

Drugs Are Pretty Low-Key Here
As someone who doesn't partake in drug use, I haven't seen much of it at USD which is great because it means that it isn't so rampant as to interfering with the atmosphere. It seems almost of all the drugs used here are marijuana and hooka.
