Campus Housing
Villanova University offers exceptional Housing for all incoming students. They provide interested students with a variety of different "Learning Communities" to participate in and I highly encourage all incoming freshmen to take advantage of this tremedous opportunity. Not only do you live with a group of people that have a common interest but at the same time you will have ONE class that consists of only students from your dorm to further foster commmunity living.
That being said, having lived in a Learning Community, I could not have been happier with my choice to not only come to Villanova but to participate in the Leadership Community. Everyone on my floor was friendly, easy going, and we always kept our doors open! It was a very homely atmosphere,in the sense that you felt comfortable around your peers and in the same sense, we all took our work very seriously, and understood that we came to Villanova for a reason.
As far as the quality of the students that I lived with: both men and women were "top-notch". Everyone was respectful, friendly, and always willing to help. This is a campus where EVERYONE holds the doors for each other and expects nothing in return.
In short, if you want a great education, a terrific living experience, and friends that you will want for a lifetime; come to Villanova and experience the "NOVA-NATION"- It will be the best decision you ever made!

Athletics:Villanova Basketball
Villanova, the NOVA NATION, boasts a tremedous amount of school spirit and comraderie for all sports teams especially Villanova's D1 Basketball Tea,, currently ranked #7 in the nation. Everyone attends as many games as possible to cheer on their fellow Wildcats.
What makes the Villanova experience so meaningful is that those same players you see on ESPN etc., will be sitting next to you the next day in class and are ever present student-athletes on campus. In addition, Jay Wright and many of the other coaches make it a point to each lunch among the student body, to truly show their pride in VU.

Villanova= a LEARNING EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER :Every Professor at Villanova Genuinely Cares About Their Students
Academics at Villanova are excellent. Although, the course work is often very challenging students realize it will pay off in the end. In addition, all classes are taught by full time faculty members and Professors, many of which hold the highest possible degree in their field of study. In my freshman year alone 4/5 of my teachers held a PhD in their area of study. Also, TA's DO NOT TEACH CLASSES AT VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY!!!!
One of the main reasons why I chose to come to Villanova was because the positive academic environment it boasted. Not only was the work extremely challenging, but the Professors genuinely care about their students. Every single teacher that I have had thus far, as provided every student with numerous ways to contact them should we need to reach them outside of the classroom or their office hours which are held bi-weekly.If you can't make an office hour DON'T WORRY all professors are extremely accomadating and want you to succeed!
For example, I was having trouble studying during Finals, I emailed my teacher, and she offered to come in on her own time over the weekend to work with me. In addition, it's pretty much common place for professors to come on Campus after hours and hold study sessions, or reviews, resolving any last minute questions or concerns the night before a test.

Coming to Villanova Was the Best Decision I Have Ever Made
Villanova University, and being apart of the Nova Nation is an experience like none other. I always knew Villanova University was a great school but after attending my first semester of classes, I can't even begin to explain how happy I am here.
By means of background, I applied to many schools including:Georgetown, BC, William and Mary, Bucknell,Richmond etc and got in to all of them Early Action.
Villanova offered a community of students like no other. I knew it would be a place that I would be happy to call home for the next four years of my life. It's a campus where everyone holds the door for you and whether your know the person walking past your or not your greet them with a smile on your face! Villanova managed to integrate a challenging Academic Curriculum while at the same time boasting a well rounded student body, that values service and places a precedent on giving back to their community.
Everyone that attends Villanova, is well rounded, comes from a family rooted in values and faith and at the same time every Villanovan seems to be ranked in the top 5 of their respective high school's graduating class!!!
