The heat is my favorite (better than my hometown in Northern Illinois), but sometimes I break a sweat just walking outside - which isn't a good combination with the extreme hills on campus. In the winter, it gets really icy even when it's not too cold. The weather doesn't affect my campus experience much because if it's too hot or cold to walk to class, I can just take the shuttle.

Leniant but Cautious – The campus police officers realize that if you're not causing trouble, they should not bother giving you a ticket or arresting you. Our campus is a 'dry campus' but as long as you don't call attention to yourself, police usually overlook the underage drunk students on the weekends. They're way too strict about parking, but I guess that's only because there are so many students and limited spots.

Sometimes the food is decent - but if it's good, it usually goes over your meal budget and you have to use flex dollars. The healthy food (fruit, salads, etc.) is way too expensive. Towers Dining Hall is the only place I can buy a filling meal for the meal budget, even though there are so many places on campus to eat.
