Not as bad as I thought

Judging by the facebook group and what people had told me, I thought that the guys and girls at Tufts would be complete trolls. To be fair, there are a few unattractive people, but there is also a large group of fairly good-looking people. I'd actually say that most people are good looking (but not gorgeous.) The most attractive ones go out on weekends, so if you like to party, its easy to find the hotties. There's a definite hook up culture and some of the guys are ass****s, but there are quite a few hot athletes walking about. To top it off, these guys may seem like bros at times but you'll see in your classes they are actually really smart, deep and passionate about world issues. Everyone's really fun and smart here, and really friendly. It's easy to make friends.

Good for a Rich Private School

In terms of racial diversity, Tufts is not very diverse. Sure, there are people of all racial backgrounds but the overwhelming majority of people are upper-middle class, atheists, liberal and white. This is to be expected of an extremely expensive private school. However, Tufts is VERY diverse in terms of personalities and interests of students. There are bros, athletes, artists, musicians, olympic speed skaters, fencers, beat-boxers, dancers. Loud partiers, quite studiers, artsy, crazy, fun, whatever. And everyone's friendly!
