Uconn Off-Campus Cuisine
The large variety of off-campus foods is more than tempting--the convenience of chain restaurants and a nice change from dining hall food lies as close as a 10-minute walk from several dormitory halls.

Inconvenience of an Out-Of-State First-Year
As an out-of-state first year with my car, I came to my school just in time to miss the last of first-year parking options. Make sure you get your permits as soon as they're available, and don't try to park anywhere without a permit in many places--tickets are free-flowing.
